These terms govern your use of Utah Longarm Quiltingand our mail-in quilting service. By placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Our service

We provide edge-to-edge (all-over) longarm quilting on quilt tops you send us. We do not offer full custom or heirloom ruler work. We quilt using your top and backing, with premium batting and thread included.

Orders, pricing & payment

• The price shown at checkout — including any applicable sales tax — is the price for your order.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe at checkout. Orders are confirmed once payment succeeds.
• If you choose a 50% deposit, the remaining balance is due before we ship your finished quilt back.

Preparing & sending your quilt

• You're responsible for pressing your top and backing and following the prep guidance on our How It Works page.
• You confirm you own, or have the right to quilt, the materials you send.
• Ship to the address on your order confirmation. We recommend insuring your package — see shipping & liability below.

Pins & foreign objects

Please remove all pins, basting pins, needles, buttons, charms, sequins, and embellishments before shipping. If a foreign object left in your quilt breaks a needle, a $25 needle-replacement fee applies, and we are not responsible for any resulting damage to your quilt.

Design & color selection

When you choose your quilting pattern, thread color, and other options in our quote tool, those choices are yours. Because quilting stitches can't be removed without damaging the fabric, we can't accept responsibility for dissatisfaction with a selection you made. If you're unsure, choose “Quilter's Choice” and we'll pick something that suits your quilt.

Photos of your quilt

We photograph every quilt when it arrives and before it ships back, for our records and to document its condition. These photos are internal. We will only share photos of your quilt publicly (website, social media) if you opt in at checkout, and we won't attach your name without separate permission. See our Privacy Policy.

Unclaimed quilts

If we can't reach you for 90 days after your quilt is finished (using the email and phone on your order — for example, an invalid return address with no response), we may donate or dispose of the quilt at our discretion. We'll make at least three attempts to contact you first.

Turnaround

Our standard turnaround is approximately 2 weeks from the day your quilt arrives; rush is 5 business days to complete and ship. These are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may vary during busy periods.

Workmanship & liability

We take great care with every quilt. However, quilting is performed on materials you provide, and certain outcomes depend on those materials. We are not responsible for issues arising from the condition of your top, backing, or fabric (for example, stretched or pieced-unevenly tops, weak seams, bleeding dyes, or pre-existing flaws). If we make a mistake in our work, we'll make it right. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Shipping & loss in transit

Return shipping is included and insured. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier; for inbound shipments, please insure your package for its value. We'll help you file a carrier claim if something goes wrong.

Intellectual property

Website content is owned by us or our licensors. Quilting designs are used under license from their creators. Your quilt and its design remain yours. For the embroidered label, the personalized text and finished label are yours; we retain the underlying digitized pattern and font files we use to produce it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
